Dr. Arpit Patel is originally from Rockford Illinois. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2016. While shadowing a family member in the optometry field, he decided to pursue higher level education.
He graduated with Honors distinction from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2020. During this time, he was an active member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society as well as Optometric Extension Program. Through his fourth-year externships, he gained experience working at McCormick Vision Source in Austin, TX, Sergeant Ernest I.
“Boots” Thomas VA Clinic in Tallahassee, FL and Hellerstein & Brenner Vision Center in Denver, CO. It was during these rotations where Dr. Patel cultivated a passion to pursue a competitive position in residency.
Dr. Patel is honored to be a part of the Omni Eye Services team and is eager to provide excellent care to all patients.
